As for many, it seems, living on the coast by the ocean has always been a dream of mine. Must be related to those special childhood vacations out to Cape Cod, or some primordial return of going back to the sea. Whatever the reasons, the dream was achieved last year with the help of my partner and friend Rod. We packed up our four dogs and headed out from Montana to the Ocean. Our realtor and soon to be good friend Sharron Rotty held our hands and helped to channel my obsessive-compulsive online searching for the perfect coastal home. She said I had learnt the inventory as good as any realtor and that I might consider it as a new post-retirement carrier. Well, that started the ball rolling, taking me from my 20 years with the USDA Forest Service into the world or being a real estate broker.
Studying and passing the Oregon states realtor exam was only a small part of the many things I would need to learn, and I was lucky enough to be able to work in the same office as Sharron and continue to be guided as a deer away from the headlights into the world of being a real estate broker. I get to look at, drive by and listen to the ocean all day long, what a great life. And now I have the pleasure of helping other people follow their dream to live by the sea. It just gets better and better.
I have been on the beautiful Oregon Coast for over 20 years and I have never stopped loving what the area has to offer. As a Realtor, I use my area expertise to match buyers with the area and the home that fits the dream. I have extensive experience in marketing and advertising which I use to effectively to sell homes or property listed with me. I have a strong background in construction for both remodel and "new construction" including new manufactured homes.
I have managed projects from the ground up and, am a reliable source for contractor referrals no matter what sort of need a client may have. Purchasing or selling Real Estate is the greatest adventure that any person will undertake. I take great pride in being a part of this endeavor and will continue to help people build, find, or sell because it is what I love to do.
I came to Oregon on vacation in 2015 and was captivated by all of the natural beauty and wildlife here on the coast. I moved here from California that same year, trading a fast-paced lifestyle for a more peaceful coastal existence.
My early career in the U.S. Air Force is what brought me to the West coast. I went on to study International Business and have also lived and worked in Japan. I returned to the U.S. where I worked in the Insurance industry for many years as a commercial underwriter for a multinational company.
Guided by my love of houses, interior design and art, the choice to go into Real Estate made sense. I'm dedicated to providing you with excellent customer service and helping you find your perfect dream home here on the beautiful Oregon coast.
